Automated Manufacturing Solutions for Higher Productivity

EMAG will feature a diverse portfolio of customized machining solutions that are automated to make entire production processes quicker, less prone to error and more cost effective. Capable of speeding up production or working as a lights-out shift, EMAG's tailor-made systems are custom designed to fit unique scenarios and families of components.

Displays will include:

• VL 3 DUO turning machine with bin picking automation: Do more with less using EMAG's VL 3 DUO turning machine. It has standard dual spindles, tool turrets and pick and place automation. Add an optional stacking cell and it can work autonomously for hours.
• WPG 7 universal cylindrical grinding machine for workpieces up to 250 mm: Productive, flexible and with a small footprint, the WPG 7 CNC external cylindrical grinding machine is suited for machining small- and medium-sized workpieces, like shafts and pinions. Available automation options provide high speed without compromising component quality.
• VT 4-4 turning centers for demanding shaft production: "Short cycle times, high precision and safe processes are what distinguish shaft machining on VT series turning centers. In these turning centers, traditional horizontal machining has literally been put on its head," noted a company spokesperson.
