Lumitec Expands Sales Team with New Senior Management

Lumitec, a designer and manufacturer of extreme environment LED lighting, announced the appointment of Carmen Marchionni as Director of Sales. Marchionni brings to the role more than 25 years' experience in the technology and manufacturing sectors and a track record of delivering high sales growth at small- and mid-sized companies.
In his new position, Marchionni will work closely with company President John Kujawa on strategies to build on the company's 10+ years of consistent double-digit growth. He will direct inside sales, field sales and channel management teams to strengthen relationships with current customers and to cultivate new growth opportunities in existing and new markets.
"Proper account research and sales planning combined with a structured and repeatable sales methodology is the secret to sales success," Marchionni said. "We have a market leading product line so it is up to our team to fully penetrate the market space we play in."
Prior to joining Lumitec Marchionni held regional vice president positions at Zones Inc. and Datalink and was the founder of Open Systems Solutions Inc. (OSSI), a reseller in the information technology space. Marchionni holds an electrical engineering degree from Drexel University.
