PrecisionX Group Announces Acquisition by Windjammer Capital

PrecisionX Group, a manufacturer of high-precision metal components for regulated industries, announced it has been acquired by Windjammer Capital, a private equity firm with over $3 billion in committed capital. This partnership marks a significant milestone in PrecisionX's growth trajectory and strengthens the company's ability to serve customers across its core end markets.

"Over the past three years, we partnered with CORE Industrial Partners to build PrecisionX into a scaled, differentiated platform with the capabilities, engineering talent, and technical expertise to compete and win in the world's most demanding industries," said Chris Huntington, CEO of PrecisionX. "I am proud of everything we accomplished and deeply grateful for CORE's commitment every step of the way. As we look ahead, the PrecisionX management team is excited to begin our next chapter with Windjammer, a firm with a proven track record of helping niche manufacturers accelerate growth in highly regulated industries. With Windjammer's backing, we see a great opportunity to sit down with our customers, better understand their needs, and then invest directly to support them in the market."

Craig Majernik, Managing Director at Windjammer, said: "Windjammer's track record of scaling differentiated manufacturing businesses makes us a natural partner for PrecisionX. As a provider of mission-critical, highly engineered precision components to customers in highly regulated markets, the business is firmly aligned with our investment strategy. We are excited to work alongside management, leveraging Windjammer's relevant experience and resources, to accelerate the Company's organic growth initiatives and pursue strategic add-on acquisitions that expand its capabilities and deepen its customer offerings."

PrecisionX is a manufacturer of highly engineered metal components serving OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the aerospace and defense, medical device, and satellite and space industries. With approximately 400,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space across seven facilities, the company integrates multiple advanced manufacturing capabilities under one platform, including deep draw, progressive stamping, microstamping, Swiss screw machining, 5-axis CNC milling, and wire EDM.
