Forest City Gear Promotes Emmajean Schreiner

Forest City Gear, a manufacturer of fine- and medium-pitch custom gears, has announces the promotion of Emmajean Schreiner to Floor Inspection/First Piece Inspector for the ID/OD and Secondary Departments.

Schreiner joined Forest City Gear in July 2025 as a Hobbing Operator on third shift, where she quickly demonstrated a sharp attention to detail and a natural instinct for quality.

In her new role, Schreiner is responsible for floor inspection and first piece inspection within the ID/OD and Secondary Departments. That means she is on the front lines of quality assurance, verifying that parts meet internal standards and customer requirements before production runs full speed ahead.

According to Amy Sovina, Quality Assurance Manager at Forest City Gear, "Emmajean has an eye for quality and a drive to learn new things. Having her on the floor will help catch issues early and ensure compliance to both our internal and customer requirements."
