Kalamazoo Industries Adds Custom Fabrication Center

Kalamazoo Industries has added a 5,000 sq. ft. custom fabrication center to its facility to eliminate the backlog of the company's standard products. "When we were modifying one of our standard products we could always move it off to the side while we waited for a part shipment" said Scott Allen, President. "But we are getting orders for increasingly larger units-some up to 10 feet high by six by six feet-and there was no 'side' to move those units to."

"The new custom fabrication center can easily accommodate two massive units and a somewhat smaller unit," said Allen. "Plus, the additional space enables us to develop new technology, like our TruArc oscillation system, which improves cutting speed."

In addition to custom products, Kalamazoo Industries fabricates a wide line of standard abrasive cutoff saws, abrasive belt grinders and sanders, vibratory finishers and other machining tools and equipment. All Kalamazoo Industries products are 100% made in the USA.
