Quaser Machine Tools to Exhibit

Quaser Machine Tools has built machines for several well-known machine tool companies. Quaser also builds high precision plasma, laser and ECM hole drilling machines for the aerospace industry.

"With a focus on high precision, high accuracy and longevity, Quaser is aware of the advantages of operator ergonomics combined with a small installation footprint," said a Quaser spokesperson. The MV134/E competes in the 30" x 16" and 40" x 20" machine size arena and, according to the spokesperson, works perfectly for someone needing more Y-axis (22.5") and Z-axis (22.0") travel in a compact size. The MV134/E is a 13,300 lb. machine that is only 80" wide by 124" deep with a wraparound chip conveyor that only extends 11" out from the side of the machine maximizing floor space.

The operator can easily load parts onto a table that is 36" above the floor and comes to only 6" from the front of the machine.

At SOUTH-TEC Quaser will also introduce a new UX500 machine, capable of 4+1 or full 5-axis. Plus, as on all its machines, Quaser gives the customer the choice of FANUC, Heidenhain, Siemens or Mitsubishi controls. The UX500 features both front and side load doors, which integrate easily with the Erowa Compact 80 automatic in both configurations and is also available with built-in, two pallet indexing.
