Mitee-Bite will feature a variety of fixturing solutions at EASTEC, including the X-Plate System, the Long Length Serrated Gripping Rail and the OK-Vise T-Slot Clamps.
X-Plate System
The Mitee-Bite X-Plate System is a versatile modular fixturing platform for 3-, 4- and 5-axis applications. "X" identifies 10 or more easily configurable everyday solutions.
The X-Plate has many mounting options, including a precision quick-change system when clamped in a vise, grid or t-slot plate, and as a multi-functional face plate for indexers and 5-axis machining centers.
This system serves as a universal mounting base for:
- Low profile or elevated clamping using Mitee-Bite Pitbull, TalonGrip and VersaGrips
- Small QC pallets using Loc-Down clamps and diamond and tapered locating pins
- Easy mounting to rotary T-slot sub plates
- Accepts popular zero-point bases, Raptor dove-tail fixtures and cubes and trunnions.
The X-plate System is designed to save time, material cost and provide more options when determining best method for the next job.
Long Length Serrated Gripping Rail
The Long Length Serrated Gripping Rail fits existing 4", 6" & 8" TalonGrip vise jaws, providing more options for TalonGrip users. It is suitable for low profile fixturing. Benefits include better load distribution and more engagement with gripper.
Increased Power for Demanding Modular Configurations
Mitee-Bite Products' new OK-Vise T-Slot Clamps are designed to generate over 20,000 lbs. of pressure. "This design utilizes some of the strongest lowest-profile clamps in the industry," said a company spokesperson. The Pitbull and OK-Vise Clamps can be used on the same base, allowing many configurations for a variety of applications
