Hurco distributor Brooks Associates will demonstrate Hurco 5-axis technology at EASTEC Booth 1206.

"The Hurco BX40Ui 5-axis CNC double-column machining center, with integrated trunnion table along the Y-axis, is the perfect combination of performance and flexibility. The ladder structure and double-column design provide extreme rigidity and outstanding support to the head casting," said a Hurco spokesperson. With an 18K motorized spindle and oversized linear guide rollers, the BX40Ui is designed for a wide range of applications. Additionally, the bridge structure is isolated from part weight and operates in a stable and predictable manner.

High cutting feedrates are achieved with patented high-speed motion technology called UltiMotion that simultaneously reduces cycle times by up to 30% or more and delivers high surface finish quality. The Solid Model Import feature of the Hurco control makes programming easy, especially for high-mix shops that manufacture smaller quantities of parts.

Brooks Associates will also exhibit the newly released Hurco VMX30Di high performance machining center with direct-drive 18K spindle and the TMX8MYSi slant-bed lathe with all-digital drives and motors and absolute encoders on all linear axes.

Industry partner Greenleaf Corporation will showcase the Hurco 3-axis VM10i machining center at Booth 5317. The VM10i features a small footprint with a large work cube.
