Element Machine Tools Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Element Machine Tools, with locations in Lebanon and Livermore Falls, ME, is celebrating its first full year of operation with completion of a line vertical machining centers capable of up to 6-axes. Element Machine Tools is currently offering six variations of machining centers directed at educational, general machining and high production manufacturing facilities. The machines are powered by the CARBON CNC control developed by Element Machine Tools. It is based on the MACH4 Industrial software produced by Newfangled Solutions, another Maine based company.
"We are currently in development of several more machine models and other machine technologies that will arrive in year two," said Tom Lamontagne, Founder of Element Machine Tools. "We have dedicated the first year to developing and prototyping affordable, yet high quality products that span a range of industries. Next year our new products will continue to expand on the same philosophy and we will also begin R&D on a machine completely designed and built in Maine."
Ben Brown, Vice President Sales and Marketing, said, "Initial sales activity has been strong with many potential customers anxiously awaiting completion of our first production machines. Our first two machines were shipped and installed with our customer in April and others will be coming right behind them. We are currently developing a distribution network and looking forward to a strong second year."
