New Touchscreen Control for Cutting Machines

Koike Aronson, Inc. / Ransome, a manufacturer of metalcutting and positioning equipment, has introduced the KARMAC numerical control with touchscreen interface for all cutting machines.

"KARMAC uses touch technology to give operators an efficient, easy-to-learn, touchscreen control for plasma, gas and other cutting systems," said a company spokesperson. "Operators do not need computer or CNC experience. They simply touch the 15 inch KARMAC monitor to input selections. No keyboard is required, which saves valuable space."

KARMAC has CAD import, a library of 50+ shapes and productivity monitoring. The screen and other components are designed to work in harsh industrial environments.

Koike Aronson, Inc./ Ransome designs and manufactures a broad line of welding positioners and cutting products, as well as portable and gas apparatus equipment.
