Reduce New Fluid Purchases by Extending Cutting Fluid Life

PRAB, a manufacturer of chip processing and fluid management equipment, supports industrial metalworking companies with equipment and systems designed for efficient fluid filtration. PRAB's Paperbed filter processes up to 130 GPM and is suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and organic and inorganic contaminants such as; glass, rubber and plastic. Filtering coolant and cutting fluids reduces costs on new fluid purchases through the recycle and reuse of working fluids.

"Metalworking companies are always seeking process improvements. Filtering coolant and metalworking fluid controls bacteria, increases the output quality of finished products, and reduces operating costs through the recycle and reuse of spent coolant," said Tom Tripepi, Technical Manager for PRAB.

The Paperbed filter comes with options of low to medium stock media. Drum-Type Paperbed Filters need one-third the floor space over a traditional filter unit but can process a much greater rate; up to 500 GPM. The Paperbed Filter can also be ordered with an integral Magnetic Separator, designed for larger particle capture of ferrous metals.
