ByTrans Extended 4020 compact material handling system
Bystronic has introduced the larger format 4020 (6' x 12' material size) of its ByTrans Extended compact material handling system. "Loading and unloading of materials takes just 75 seconds so that the system is always faster than the shortest cutting plan. The short cycle time, which is independent of the thickness of the metal sheet, ensures greater overall throughput. ByTrans Extended offers complete accessibility and optimum operation in a small, inline footprint and handles all sheet thickness up to 3/4 inch plate," said a company spokesperson.
ByTrans Extended offers two raw material locations and one unload location. The second raw material location can also serve as the location for the unloading of automatically sorted parts.
