Hurco Companies, Inc. held its annual awards banquet in Indianapolis to acknowledge the team of distributors and agents throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico and South America who represent Hurco. The national meeting of Hurco distributor partners was held at the Colts Sports Complex this year to kick off the new partnership Hurco has established with the local NFL team. Banquet attendees had the chance to snap a picture with the Super Bowl XLI Trophy that was on display and to access restricted areas of the complex, such as the player locker rooms, the indoor practice field, weight room, film room and lounge/game room.
Jon Doell of Gage Machine Tool, the full-service distributor that represents Hurco in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and northwestern Missouri, was the second most successful sales representative in North America, earning him the Top 5 Sales Representative Award from Hurco. Other recipients of the Hurco Top Sales Representative Award were Jim Braun (#1) of Braun Machinery, Tim Navalta (#3) of Braun Machinery, Tom Drazkowski (#4) of Stone Machinery and Bryan Recktenwald (#5) of ACI Machine Tools.
The distributors were also recognized for their achievements in representing Hurco. The Top 5 Distributors in order were Braun Machinery (Michigan), Reynolds Machinery (Ohio), Brooks Associates (Massachusetts), ACI Machine Tools (Kentucky) and Stone Machinery (Minnesota).
CJ Smith Machinery Company (Missouri) won the Top Distributor Market Share Award and Top Distributor Growth went to Dynamic International (Wisconsin).
Hurco also welcomed new distributors Crotts & Saunders (representing Hurco in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and southeastern West Virginia); COSA Intermaquinas (representing Hurco in Brazil, South America); MDI Machine Tools (representing Hurco in southeastern Texas) and Motch & Eichele Company (representing Hurco in western Pennsylvania).
