Matsuura Machinery USA, an innovator in the development of high speed machining and the manufacture of automated, unmanned high accuracy CNC machine tools, announced the presentation of its Distributor of the Year Award to Selway Machine Tool, a provider of quality machine tools and accessories.
Katsu Matsuura, President of Matsuura Machinery Corporation, honored Bill Selway, President of Selway Machine Tool, with the award during the company's second annual open house in St. Paul, MN. This is Selway Machine Tool's second appointment as Matsuura Machinery USA's Distributor of the Year, as it received the company's first Distributor of the Year award in 2014.
"Selway Machine Tool was selected as Matsuura Machinery USA's 2015 Distributor of the Year for its dedication to Matsuura's customers in providing extraordinary sales, service and manufacturing solutions. Selway Machine Tool has immense experience in the machine tool industry and a comprehensive knowledge of the marketplace," said Katsu Matsuura.
Selway Machine Tool was founded in 1963 by Roy Selway. The company began representing Matsuura products in 1978. "Many of the Matsuura 5-axis machining centers sold by Selway Machine Tool are producing parts for the aerospace, medical and semi-conductor industries," said a Selway spokesperson. "The company continues to expand its operations, functioning in the same performance driven environments as its customers, focusing on providing value added products and services.
"Selway Machine Tool sold the first Matsuura horizontal with multi-pallet system in the U.S., and has installed thousands of Matsuura machining centers on the West Coast."
