Wiley Metal Fabricating Expands Capabilities

Wiley Metal Fabricating, Inc. has added two new pieces of equipment to its metal fabricating line, a waterjet and a large brake press. The new equipment allows Wiley Metal to expand its manufacturing capabilities.
The Flow Mach 3 4020b waterjet operates at 50 HP with a pump rated to 60,000 PSI and features a 13' x 6' x 6" cutting area. The waterjet also features a dynamic cutting head for faster, more accurate cutting.
The press brake from Bystronic Xpert is designed to provide high position and repetition accuracy. It features Wila Tooling and is programmed offline. This press brake offers a bed length of 161" and is 275 U.S. tons.
Wiley Metal Fabricating is using Radan for its offline press brake programming. It is also using Striker System to program and nest turrets. SolidWorks 3D modeling is used for all of the engineering work.
