Single and Double Spindle Complex Turning Grinders

Supertec Machinery, Inc. has introduced a new line of complex I.D./O.D. grinders. The new EG product line offers CNC grinders starting with a single I.D. spindle up to a twin spindle I.D./O.D. complex grinder capable of grinding an I.D., O.D., end face and shoulder. With the optional turning spindle the machine offers enhanced versatility. All models utilize the FANUC Oi-TD control, drives and motors, and come with the FANUC two-year limited warranty.
The EGM-500CNC twin spindle model features two I.D. grinding spindles with ranges from 10,000 to 50,000 RPM. The grinder has an ample work envelope with a grinding diameter up to 12.6" and a grinding depth of 8". The EGM-500CNC grinder utilizes NSK linear ways and precision ballscrews on all three axes for smooth movement, enhanced accuracy and rigidity. The optional turning spindle allows for turning the I.D. or O.D. before grinding, therefore reducing the overall set-up and machining time of the part.
The EGI-150CNC series is a single spindle I.D. grinder with an optional end face grinding head that is positioned via servo motor and precision ballscrew. The EGI series grinders have a work envelope (depending on model) of 12.6" swing over table, 6" grinding depth with a max. I.D. bore of 9.44". A 3-jaw 8" hydraulic chuck is standard on the machine.
