Allendale Machinery Systems recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark its 40th anniversary as well as its move into a 16,000-sq.-ft. facility at its New Jersey location. New Jersey Assemblywoman DeAnne DeFuccio presented a resolution to mark the special occasion and the company's growth in the manufacturing field.
Allendale Machinery Systems provides leading machine technology, tooling, automation and engineering expertise to deliver turn-key manufacturing solutions. The company sells lathes, mills, lasers, vertical and horizontal machining centers, 3D printers, robots and rotary products. "A third-generation company, Allendale Machinery Systems provides manufacturing solutions, quality service and value driven results to exceed the expectations of our customers," said a company spokesperson.
Allendale Machinery's New Jersey and New York facilities are strategically located to provide prompt service response time to its customers. At its Upper Saddle River, NJ location, the company stocks inventory for the majority of its machine services. It provides next-day delivery for most items that are not common stock in the warehouse. Fully stocked vans serve the New York and New Jersey machining community covering the tri-state area. "Our teams strive to offer the best manufacturing solutions and application support to ensure our customers achieve their return-on-investment goals," said the spokesperson.
Allendale Machinery Systems started as a machine tool distributor. "We have grown over the years, adding employees and different brands of machine builders to offer our customers more solutions," said the spokesperson. "From the start, we always serviced the machines we sold and would train our customers on how to use the equipment and help them at times with setting up basic jobs."
In the early 2000s, Allendale Machinery began to sell automation, robots, accessories and consumables used by its customers on those machines. The company also increased the level of assistance provided to customers setting up jobs to help them perform more complex turn-keys. Since then, it has changed its approach from selling equipment to that of helping customers source full manufacturing solutions and assist them in keeping manufacturing local and competitive on the global market. Its largest department is Technical Support, which includes engineers that program, set up, train, repair and integrate automation solutions with the machines.
This continued growth led Allendale Machinery to need more space for employees and for building and testing manufacturing solutions for its customers. The increased space also gives provides room for future growth.
