Methods Machine Tools to Host Machine Fest March 8-9

Methods Machine Tools will host Machine Fest on March 8-9, 2023, at its Gilberts, IL, location. Machine Fest will run from 9 AM to 5 PM each day.

Methods Machine Fest goes beyond the traditional open house. Designed to demonstrate the full Methods experience, attendees will get up close to Methods' entire portfolio of 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC platforms, EDM, multitasking machines, lathes, integrated automation solutions and service and support.

Methods application engineers, tooling experts and product managers will be on site to meet with attendees to discuss specific projects for their businesses.

"The pace of growth we are seeing in our region combined with the expansion of our products and services portfolios makes this an exciting time to welcome manufacturers from all industries to Gilberts," said Mike James, Methods' General Manager for Illinois and Wisconsin. "With more than 15 live demos on the floor, more than 20 strategic vendor partners on site, the automation in our showroom and the technical perspectives of our folks in the room, Machine Fest is so much more than an open house. It is an immersive environment where attendees can roll up their sleeves with our experts and see firsthand the superior results they can achieve with Methods."

Machines and solutions featured on site will include:

  • Automation: FANUC Robodrill Job Shop Cell (LR Mate), Job Shop Cell Collaborative (CRX), RoboJob Cell, FANUC M710 serving multiple turning machines
  • FANUC: Five RoboDrill varieties (with/without automation) and RoboCut C400 and C600 series EDM
  • Nakamura-Tome: AS-200MY, SC100x2, NYT3-150, MX-100, WY-100 (with automation)
  • Yasda: YBM640, Px30i
  • OKK: HMC500, VC-X500 (with automation)
  • Methods Machining Centers: MB650U, MV800H
  • KIWA: KH4500 Kai
  • Weiler: E50 cycle-controlled lathe
  • Beamer laser marking.

"We are excited to showcase our entire portfolio, especially our newer machines and solutions that officially hit the market in 2022. No matter the industry or the size of your shop, attendees will be hard pressed to leave without seeing a solution the works for their floor," said Zac Borost, Methods Sales Manager for Illinois and Wisconsin.

Methods, which first arrived in the region in 1996, moved into its Gilberts location in early 2021.
