NCTC Alliance Training Center to Offer Manufacturing Training

The NCTC Alliance Training Center

North Central Texas College (NCTC) has announced that it is opening a new facility, the NCTC Alliance Training Center, specifically designed to help retool the workforce for the medical and industrial manufacturing industries of North Central Texas.

Enrolling now, the NCTC Alliance Training Center will open this fall offering degrees and certificate programs in Allied Health www.nctc.edu/true/allied-health) and Industrial Mechatronics (www.nctc.edu/mechatronics)." target="_blank">(www.nctc.edu/true/allied-health) and Industrial Mechatronics (www.nctc.edu/mechatronics).

"The most exciting feature of these course offerings is NCTC's partnership with the TRUE (Texas Reskilling and Upskilling Education) Grant www.nctc.edu/campus/alliance)," said a spokesperson" target="_blank">(www.nctc.edu/campus/alliance)," said a spokesperson. NCTC was awarded a $2.375 million grant to not only offer courses, but also to provide financial assistance to enrolled students of up to $2,500. In addition to the degree programs, most of the certificate offerings are nearly completely covered by the $2,500, so a student can virtually reskill or upskill their career at almost no cost. More information about qualifying for the TRUE Grant is available at www.nctc.edu/true.
