MICOR Announces Addition of Hawk Enterprises Brand

MICOR Industries, an Alabama-based aerospace and defense precision machining company, has added the Hawk Enterprises brand to its ever-expanding family of industry businesses.

MICOR CEO Julius Uhlmann said, "Hawk's 20-year reputation of providing quality products and services while maintaining its motto to 'Focus on the Warfighter' aligns perfectly with the MICOR core values of 'Transparent, Trusted and Tenacious.' Re-establishing the Hawk brand and its products is another avenue for us to provide mission-critical products and services to our clients." As a division of MICOR, their exemplary dedication to the armed forces and the men and women who serve will continue.

Former owner William "Bill" Tripp founded Hawk Enterprises, LLC on March 16, 2000. He was a service-disabled veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked in support of the DoD and Warfighter for over 48 years as a defense contractor. Throughout his vast experience with DoD programs and products, he noticed a severe training proficiency gap between Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and follow-on Noncommissioned Officers Education System (NCOES) regarding Aviation Maintenance Sustainment Training. Hawk Enterprises was established to fill this gap.

As a MICOR business, Hawk will continue to provide services in all areas of aviation. MICOR Director of Government Services, Steve Sarles, stated, "We are eager to begin building upon the relationships with Hawk customers to create solutions for the ever-changing and advancing aviation industry."

"Historically, over 50% of Hawk employees were combat veterans that honed their skills serving our nation. They supported our customers and Soldiers in Arms with the same drive and motivation by providing uncompromising quality products and services on time and at the best value. Hawk, under the MICOR management team, will continue to provide support that is second to none, flexible to the customer's needs, and financially sound. With this acquisition, Hawk will continue the dedicated service to the industry and high commitment to those who serve our country," said a MICOR spokesperson.
