Aras Appoints Chief Revenue Officer

Aras, a platform provider for digital industrial applications, has announced Marc de Guiran as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). He takes over this role from Martin Allemann, who will transition to a role on the board with a focus on global strategy.

"Marc joins Aras with extensive global enterprise sales experience and a strong background as a leader of complex corporate initiatives and projects," said a company spokesperson. "He has led multiple international sales acceleration initiatives, including establishing Asset Performance Management, Supply Chain Management businesses and Cloud businesses with triple digit growth and enabling sales teams to drive cross portfolio solution-based offerings and long-term customer loyalty and development."

Prior to Aras, de Guiran was head of global strategic programs at AVEVA. Before that, he held a variety of positions where he was a sales leader.

"I was attracted to Aras because of its disruptive technology, strong vision for the future and collaborative culture," said de Guiran, CRO at Aras. "To solve the complex problems that Aras is tackling, everyone must be involved in the solution. Exceptional team collaboration is a quality that I passionately believe is essential to be successful, and it is one that I see across the entire organization. I am excited to be part of Aras' leadership team and look forward to building upon their current success and further scale the business."

"Marc brings world-wide sales experience in engineering software, specifically process industry design, operations and maintenance lifecycle in complex industrial environments. He has a proven track record of leading successful revenue programs and will play a pivotal role in advancing our go-to-market strategy," said Peter Schroer, Founder and CEO of Aras.
