Expansion of C4-size Holders and Clamping Unit

Tungaloy Corporation has announced the addition of C4-size holders to TungCap, the quick-change tooling system that delivers precise, productive turning operations on machining centers.
TungCap, which is compatible with polygonal shank coupling (PSC) standard, is designed to reduce machine downtime since insert change on the machine and test cutting are not necessary.
"Also, the clamping unit that interfaces with machining centers will be added along with the C4-size holders, which will further enhance the functionality of TungCap and help customers improve productivity much more in a wide variety of applications," said a company spokesperson.
