Mahr Federal to Feature Various Products At Metrology Solutions Expo
May 4, 2016Mahr Federal will feature the MarShaft SCOPE 250 plus, along with the MarVision MM 320, the MarVision QM 300 and MarCal digital calipers and MarCator digital indicators at the first Metrology Solutions Expo, May 4-5, 2016, TD Convention Center in the James H. Woodside Conference Center, Greenville, SC.
The Metrology Solutions Expo will feature various types of precision measuring tools, gauges, fixtures, systems and software used in manufacturing applications, and will include demonstrations of precision metrology equipment from leading names in the quality business.
Mahr Federal's MarShaft SCOPE 250 plus, is designed to provide fast, accurate, fully automatic measurement of smaller shafts and turned parts directly on the shop floor. It features an accurate matrix camera with four million pixels, and measures parts up to 250 mm in length and 40 mm in diameter with enhanced accuracy. “Its maximum permissible error (MPE) of less than 1.5 microns + L/40 when measuring diameter and 3 microns + L/125 when measuring length is more accurate than other systems using line cameras,” said a company spokesperson.
Also on display at Metrology Solutions Expo will be:
• The MarVision MM 320 and QM 300 video measuring microscopes with image processing capability. Designed for the measurement and/or dimensioning of geometric elements, the MM 320 and QM 300 incorporate integrated CCD color cameras with zoom lens, 23" touchscreen PCs with keyboard and mouse and easy-to-use Windows based M3 software.
• MarCal digital calipers and MarCator digital indicators with wireless data transmission capability. Both send data to a small i-stick receiver, resembling a common USB flash drive. MarCom software helps make data acquisition simple: just take a measurement and transmit measuring data directly into MS Excel or via a keyboard code into any Windows program without the need for external transmitters or add on transmitters.
Also on display will be selections from Mahr Federal's line of surface measuring instruments, including both portable roughness measurement devices and computer based stationary surface measuring systems. In addition to the PocketSurf IV, there will be the MarSurf PS1, the MarSurf M300 and the MarSurf M400. Mahr's stationary system line includes the MarSurf XR 1, which combines mobile surface metrology with the advantages of MarWin evaluation software; and the MarSurf XCR20 that combines roughness and contour measurement systems.
