High Range Safety Light Curtain with Built-in Control Function

Norstat now offers a category 4 safety light curtain with an extended operating range of up to 20 m.
The EOS4-XH is a Type 4 Safety light curtain that comes standard with a built-in selectable manual/automatic start-restart function and feedback input with selectable enabling for external relay monitoring. The EOS4-XH also has a muting function through external AD SRM interface, Mosaic safety integrated controller or safety PLC. These factors make the EOS4-XH effective for directly controlling and monitoring machine circuits with no need for external safety modules.
The EOS4-XH is available with 2 PNP-400 mA at 24VDC safety outputs with protection against short circuit, overload and reverse polarity. The EOS4-XH utilizes LED signaling for light curtain status and diagnostics, carries a protection rating of IP 65-67 and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +55 °C. Response time for the EOS4-XH is 2.5 ms to 20 ms.
