Sensors Monitor Indoor Air Quality
July 1, 2022
To help facility operators and managers maintain healthy indoor air quality, Sensaphone offers a variety of sensors that measure conditions such as temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, smoke and airflow.
The sensors are compatible with most Sensaphone monitoring devices, which provide the necessary alerting and data logging functionality. When a sensor detects a reading outside of the programmed high or low limit, users receive an instant notification.
The combination temperature, humidity and CO2 sensor utilizes a dual-channel nondispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor to monitor CO2, a precision thermistor to monitor temperature and a thermoset polymer-based capacitive sensor to measure humidity levels.
The carbon monoxide sensor monitors CO levels from 0 PPM to 300 PPM. The 1" x 1/2" LCD displays the PPM and menu parameters.
The smoke detector with battery backup and built-in relay uses a photoelectric sensing method and has tandem interconnect capability allowing up to six devices to be connected together. A 90 dBA audible horn is included.
The duct mount air flow transmitter measures the rate of airflow by monitoring the presence or absence of cool moving air. It measures relative airflow from 0 meters to 16 meters per second.
