SMART Machine Tool Korea Factory Expands

Dynamic International's expansion of its SMART Machine Tool Korea factory with an additional 100,000 sq. ft. is now completed.

"Dynamic International, headquartered in Pewaukee, WI, is an importer of state-of-the-art CNC milling machines and lathes from around the world. Dynamic's network of 20 plus distributors in North America services the aerospace, automotive, medical and construction markets, and is committed to developing long term customer relationships focused on superior service and support," said Dynamic International's President and founder, Richard Layo.

As both the customer base and the industry's demand for unique, cost-effective machines grew, Dynamic International, established in 1986, forged an import relationship with many large manufacturing companies, supplying horizontal lathes and vertical machining centers to its markets.

"Dynamic International began its own brand of machine tools in 2018 under the SMART Machine Tool name and shipped over 700 machines in less than two years. SMART Machine Tool's solid understanding of its North America customer and market needs, combined with the team's engineering and machine design expertise, differentiates it from the competition," said Layo. These machines are built for the United States.

Layo, with 35+ years as a distributor and 20+ years as an importer, founded the Korea based factory to provide high quality and reliable machine solutions at an affordable price. SMART Machine Tool Korea supplies CNC lathes ranging from 6" to 30" chucks, and now vertical machining centers, for the North American market. The expansion of SMART Machine Tool Korea facilitates an increase of 3-4x current production levels.
