Adam Equipment has introduced the CBX balance designed for long life. CBX offers basic weighing and parts counting functionalities.
The balance can be powered by either an included adapter or an internal rechargeable battery. For convenience, recharging may be also done via low-voltage USB-type input. Auto power-off saves energy to extend battery life, while a low battery indicator alerts the user when it is time to recharge.
The rechargeable lithium battery (good for up to 216 hours between charges) and lightweight construction (net weight is 1.26 lbs./572g) make CBX portable for flexibility in usage.
CBX is available in three models: CBX 1201 (1,200 g capacity and 0.1 g readability), CBX 3001 (3,000 g capacity and 0.5 g readability) and CBX 6001 (6,000 g capacity and 1 g readability). Each model offers results in grams, pounds, ounces and Newtons.
Durable ABS housing and a 5.8"/148 mm square stainless steel pan allow CBX to handle demands from light duty all the way up to harsh industrial use in temperatures that range from freezing to 104 °F/40 °C. The grade 304 stainless steel pan protects the scale from most materials and liquids, making cleanup fast and easy.
CBX offers a simple-to-use sealed keypad and a bright, backlit 0.7"/18 mm LCD display. A built-in level indicator and adjustable feet ensure proper balance for optimum weighing results.
