Siemens Selects Racer Machinery for Global Rollout of New CNC Platform

Siemens has selected RACER Machinery International, Inc. to be part of its North American "Field Experience" phase for its new SINUMERIK ONE, the first digital native CNC.

"SINUMERIK ONE with digital twin is a future-oriented CNC system for highly productive machine tools," said a Siemens spokesperson. "SINUMERIK ONE is much more than just a powerful hardware innovation-its digital twin makes it the key element for the digital transformation for machinery design and the machining of products."

Alex Vojinovich, COO of RACER Machinery, said, "This selection by Siemens to be part of the North American Field Experience validates years of RACER providing quality machinery, rich in technological developments, to the market. With the SINUMERIK ONE, Racer looks forward to developing new technology for the metalcutting industry. RACER will be implementing SINUMERIK ONE on all our platforms and take advantage of the Siemens development to enhance our market position."

"SINUMERIK ONE with digital twin provides significant advantages for both the machine manufacturer as well as the end customer," said the spokesperson. "The control offers secure production planning for the machine user and is the basis for new business models such as seamless engineering with the digital twin. The use of digital twins for scalable job preparation, production optimization, promotion and training all enhance the customer's overall productivity.
