Manufacturing Assembly Provides Single-Source Production Solution

Robinson Fabrication & Machine offers manufacturing assembly services from simple parts production to the delivery of turn-key solutions.

The company's expertise enables customers to dedicate internal resources toward core capabilities rather than component assembly. Robinson Fab & Machine, a division of Robinson Metal, Inc., can also ship directly to third-party customers when appropriate, bypassing interim assembly stops that add time and cost.

"Rather than tying up labor to assemble these projects, customers are leveraging our manufacturing assembly abilities so projects come in complete and ready to plug into their systems," explained Jamie Tilkens, Robinson Fab & Machine Division Manager.

Manufacturing Assembly Allows for Testing Prior to Shipment

Robinson Fab & Machine's manufacturing assembly capabilities carries multiple benefits, including the ability to complete testing prior to shipment. This key deliverable can prevent costly delays in bringing new equipment online.

"Our ability to complete the entire assembly phase here puts us in position to offer engineering suggestions when appropriate," Tilkens said. "Our experts can participate in discussions and recommend cost-effective design ideas before we get too far down the road."

"Robinson Fab & Machine can perform every aspect of the assembly process including fabrication of base frames, machining of precision parts and multiple quality control points," said a company spokesperson. The company has in-house AWS certified weld inspectors along with third-party inspectors as required by ASME Section VII Division 1 code.

Robinson Metal holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and has experience working with materials ranging from stainless steel to multiple grades of carbon steel.
