Hoffmann Group Opens U.S. Subsidiary in Tennessee

Hoffmann Group USA is now open for business. The subsidiary of the Hoffmann Group, based in Munich, Germany, opened its new office in Windsor Square recently. "This is an exciting day - especially for those of us who are native Knoxvillians," said Charlie Slagle, President of Hoffmann Group USA. "We are so proud to bring an international company like Hoffmann Group, known for outstanding quality and customer service, to our city."
"We have chosen Knoxville because it is close to the big plants of the U.S. manufacturing industry where many German enterprises have their subsidiaries," said Martin Reichenecker, Chief Sales Officer of the Hoffmann Group in Munich. "Several of the companies based in and around Knoxville already know us from other markets, and now, with us as their partner, they have the opportunity to standardize their tool requirements across borders."
Hoffmann Group USA will initially focus efforts in the eastern and mid-western sectors of the country due to this close proximity to manufacturing in those areas. Reichenecker said, "We want to support our customers in the United States as a system partner providing a unique combination of trading, manufacturing and service competence, and we want to create employment and opportunity for the people of East Tennessee. We aim to contribute to this region to help it prosper and make this office one of our leading subsidiaries in the world."
