TCI Powder Coatings Announces New Hires



TCI Powder Coatings Severson: Dave Severson

TCI Powder Coatings, a subsidiary of RPM International Inc., has announced Dave Severson as the Automotive Market Segment Manager and Nancy Wright as the Director of Quality.

Severson brings over 15 years of technical and commercial experience in the coatings industry. Most recently, he was involved in regional sales and market management with the Valspar Corporation.

Severson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Chemistry.

Tom Whalen, TCI Director, Marketing & Segment Strategy, said, "We are excited to have Dave join our team. Dave has developed a comprehensive, multi-technology skillset combined with a successful career in business development that will significantly benefit the automotive segment, our customers, and the TCI organization. Dave will be a great asset to TCI and help us further advance our premium brand position and segmentation strategy in the powder coatings market."

Wright brings over 20 years of experience in various roles with quality and process improvement. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt. For the past 10 years, Wright has gained valuable experience holding positions as an Engineering Group Leader and Operations Manager, among several others. "Her knowledge and expertise in areas of quality, process improvement and project management make her an exceptional choice for her new role at TCI," said a TCI spokesperson.

Wright earned her B.S. in Chemistry from NY State University, Buffalo.

Tommy Reno, TCI Vice President of Manufacturing, asserts, "We are very excited to have Nancy join our team. She has the skill set and experience to help TCI raise the bar of `Best in Class' in the industry. Nancy is a great asset to further advance the quality of our product and bring added value to our customers and the powder coating industry."
