Beckwood Press Company Appoints Engineering Manager
October 1, 2016
Adam Strein
Beckwood Press Company, a manufacturer of custom hydraulic presses and automation systems and the Triform line of sheet hydroforming equipment, has announced the promotion of Adam Strein to Engineering Manager. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology and more than seven years of experience designing industrial machinery, Strein has developed an invaluable skill set that will aid him in his new role.
Since 2012 Strein has been an integral part of Beckwood's engineering team, leading the design effort on many of its most challenging projects. Performing detailed FEA analyses, engineering post- and gib-guided press frames, and designing Triform's newest deep draw sheet hydroforming presses, which feature a compact footprint and built-in tool change capability, are among his greatest successes, reported the company.
"As Engineering Manager, Strein mentors and inspires Beckwood engineers to design high-quality, innovative hydraulic presses and ancillary machinery to solve the most difficult manufacturing challenges," said a company spokesperson. "His initiative, leadership and design direction are instrumental to future advancements in the manufacturing industry."
"Innovation is the key to our success," said Beckwood President, Jeffrey Debus. "Adam's ability to push the limits of press design and facilitate new technology development gives our customers a unique competitive advantage in the marketplace."
