Pilz Automation Safety has announced the grand opening of its new services delivery office in Charlotte, NC.
"Opening this office allows us to locate key safety consultants and Engineers closer to our customers in the area. The closer we are to our customers, the better we can meet their needs," said Ben Harper, National Sales Manager for Pilz Automation Safety. "The office will also act as an additional training center and allow us to conduct smaller, topic and/or customer-specific training to assist our customers locally."
Michael Beerman, General Manager for Pilz Automation Safety, said, "While this is the South East Services Delivery Office, our plan is to open additional offices around the country as we continue to grow in the United States."
The grand opening took place recently. The opening featured a training seminar entitled "The use of protective devices in machine guarding." "This two-hour training session reviewed regulatory compliance issues with regards to machine guarding as well as protective devices," said Dino Mariuz, Engineering Manager for Pilz. "We maintain a robust training portfolio, so this training session gave customers a sample of what we have to offer." After the training session, customers had the opportunity to ask Pilz safety and automation experts their specific questions and concerns, one-on-one, while enjoying refreshments.
