Graco to Highlight Automated Dispense Solutions at The ASSEMBLY Show 2016
October 25, 2016Graco Advanced Fluid Dispense (AFD), a provider of fluid handling products and systems, will be highlighting the Graco UniXact, a fully automated precision dispense solution, and the PR70 Meter, Mix and Dispense product family at The ASSEMBLY Show 2016, October 25-27, 2016, in Rosemont, IL, booth 1723.
Graco UniXact dispense solutions include technologies designed for mass production and to support large scale operations. “The system offers a single source for motion, fluid dispense and process monitoring to improve process security and lowers the risk of product defects due to human error,” said a company spokesperson.
Ideal for dispensable materials used in the production of consumer electronics, automotive electronics, medical devices and general industrial part assembly, the Graco UniXact platform is designed for thermal interface management (TIM), bonding, potting and gasketing applications. It is designed to meet the industry’s need for precision and productivity as devices get smaller.
“The Graco UniXact specializes in handling the tough materials including high viscosity and highly abrasive materials and is capable of handling a wide range of one-component and two-component materials,” said the spokesperson. “Graco UniXact provides a high level of production flexibility, with easy programming that can be done either at the machine or offline, accommodating part and process changes.” The complete package features real-time process monitoring and data streaming, contouring dispense capabilities, vision and height sensing.
In addition, Graco experts will showcase the PR70 Meter, Mix and Dispense product family, designed to produce accurate and consistent beads in adhesive and sealant applications. The PR70 line features fixed ratio, variable ratio and advanced data control models as well as flow control and servo motor options. The PR70 product line is ideal for a range of applications including bonding and sealing, potting, gasketing, encapsulation and syringe filling.
