The Robert E. Morris Company to Host Technology Show and Open House

The Robert E. Morris Company, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will display and demonstrate the latest CNC machinery from leading machine tool builders at its 910 Day Hill Road, Windsor, CT, headquarters on June 10-11, 2015. Machines on display will include more than 20 models from Okuma, Tsugami, Hardinge, Bridgeport, Kellenberger, GROB, Chevalier and Trumpf TRUMARK Laser Marking Systems. Product specialists from nearly two dozen suppliers of tooling, accessories, software and related technology will exhibit productivity enhancing products and services, integrated with live cutting demonstrations on the displayed machinery.

Machinery will range from entry-level lathes and Swiss types to horizontal machining centers, vertical machining centers, multifunction machines, multi-axis machines and double turret lathes. An array of machines especially suited for aerospace applications will be displayed at The Robert E. Morris Company's secondary facility on Day Hill Road. Shuttle service will transport guests between the main office and nearby satellite location throughout both days.

"Our suppliers and application engineers have assembled an impressive display of machines and demos," said Aaron Hornyak, President, The Robert E. Morris Company. "Our focus is on integrating the best and latest technologies - machinery, tooling, accessories, automation, software and more - while leveraging the power of increasingly sophisticated machine controls. Building custom solutions and simplifying the installation of new equipment for our customers are strong points that we will showcase at this event."

The Northeast machine tool distributor serves manufacturers of precision machined parts in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, northern New Jersey, eastern New York including the metro area and Long Island, Rhode Island, and Vermont.. Customers represent virtually every industry segment, notably, aerospace, energy, medical and defense.

Staff members from the distributor's sales, application engineering, service and productivity groups will be joined by product and engineering experts from its machine tool partners. Machine-side presentations will show guests how to reduce number of machining operations, improve part quality, and maximize machine utilization and productivity.

Food and beverages will be served both days. Free giveaways and door prizes are planned. Guests are encouraged to register in advance. For more information, visit http://www.robertemorris.com or phone 860-687-3300.
