June 1, 2015
"The Jupiter CN Bandsaw, by Pat Mooney Saws, provides production, accuracy and ease of operation," said a company spokesperson. "The saw pivots from 0-60 degrees to set-up a mitre cut in seconds. CN control can store 99 cutting jobs while offering scrap minimization."
The CN control manages cutoff programs via the keypad. Simply input the desired length, number of pieces, blade speed, etc., and the machine will monitor cutoff jobs for accuracy. It includes CN back gauge encoder and servo motor.
CN Jupiter, a fully automatic bandsaw has precision carbide blade guides with roller guides. There is a planetary gear drive with reductor unit-case hardened and ground helical gears, greased and lubricated for long life. Variable blade speeds are 52-396 FPM. Included in the Jupiter is a blade breakage switch to shut off the machine in case of breakage and a motion detector to sense if the blade stalls in material.
