The MILLSHRED P290 shredding tools, according to ISCAR, help achieve excellent tool stability and optimal chip flow even from deep cavities. The P290 is an extension to the company's SHREDMILL line.
The serrations on the cutting edges of the P290 inserts are designed to provide an overlapping effect between all adjacent tool pockets, providing a fully effective cutter configuration. The P290 is especially designed for long overhang applications or when machining power is limited.
