New Series of Mini Tank-Mixing Eductor Spray Nozzles
June 1, 2015
BEX new mini eductor spray nozzles are designed to enable smaller pumps to circulate large volumes of tank solution and are color-coded based on orifice size for easy identification.
BEX Incorporated, a manufacturer of industrial spray nozzles, will display its wide array of nozzles on June 8-10 in booth 1002 at SUR/FIN 2015, Rosemont, IL.
Among its many nozzle products, the company will feature its series of mini tank-mixing eductors. "The mini eductors, with orifice diameters ranging from 0.59 to 1.18 inch diameter, use a venturi design which enables smaller pumps to circulate large volumes of tank solution," said a company spokesperson. "The eductors will yield four to five times inlet flow, i.e., circulate four to five gallons of solution for each gallon pumped, and are used for mixing chemicals, suspending solids, adjusting pH sweeping, debris or sludge toward a filter intake, as well as many other useful applications." Typical applications include use in tanks used for plating, cleaning, phosphating, sludge, paint and anodizing.
The mini eductors are color-coded based on orifice size to provide for easy identification. "They are constructed of polypropylene and PVDF and used in much the same way as larger eductors, but on a much smaller scale," said the spokesperson. "The venturi design allows smaller pumps to take advantage of the surrounding liquid to create a high velocity yield." The nozzle flow ranges from 0.31 gallons per minute (GPM) with a circulation rate of 1.9 GPM at 10 PSI to 2.9 GPM flow rate with 10.7 circulation rate at 50 PSI.
