New ERP Software Release

Passport Software has released PBS Version 12.03, which includes support for Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and most current versions of LINUX. PBS Manufacturing is ERP software designed to meet the needs of the smaller manufacturer. It offers its own complete accounting solution, including an optional Payroll module.
Version 12.03 PBS Check Reconciliation is an improved module with a variety of new options to improve support for cash management.
MySet is a new system-wide tool that works with all PBS modules. It allows each user to pre-set a variety of default options to speed up their work functions. Future Passport releases will include additional MySet features.
With the release of v.12.03 for Manufacturing, a new Physical Inventory Freeze feature has been added to the Inventory Management module. It allows daily transactions to continue to be processed while the physical count is completed.
"In addition, the PBS Manufacturing applications have been tested in the mobile environment of the Windows 8 Pro tablets," said Ian Creswell, Manufacturing Product Manager. "User can press a button and take the tablet along to have complete access to business software while on the move."
