Clarity has launched the latest version of its machine tool monitoring system, Clarity LITE. "During a season in the economy where manufacturers need a competitive advantage, Clarity has released a version that will put shops ahead of others not yet benefiting from management with live dashboards," said a company spokesperson. "Clarity LITE will cut implementation time of a full system in half, thus bringing live machine tool visibility to the floor more quickly. Additionally, there are no operator inputs needed that take operators away from their main job duties. Clarity LITE directly connects to the machine tool controls, collecting and displaying live information throughout the shop and office. The machine tool status and utilization is displayed in real time on dashboards. Remote site access adds even more accessibility for owners/managers to manage and analyze operational efficiencies, from any location."
