Twin Spindle Machining Center for Machining Timing Gear Cases

WEMA Vogtland America LLC offers the HPC FLEX-V200, a versatile system for the production of timing gear cases. The multitask system enables pre- and finish milling, drilling and finish boring, as well as associated machining operations necessary to complete the machining process. The center operates at a cycle time of 180 seconds per workpiece.
System performance features include:
- B-axes and pallet changer
- Tool magazine for 72 tools
- Tool detection with active power and laser sensor system
- Clamping hydraulics, including location check for clamping fixtures
- Operating data logging, including remote diagnostics via Internet
- Pneumatic taper cleaning
- Scraper type conveyor
- Advanced coolant system, including work area flushing and mist separator.
WEMA Vogtland America LLC provides retooling turnkey machining systems for prismatic parts and engine components, as well as new special purpose machines. Capabilities include the retooling of both flexible and dedicated machinery as well as redeploying equipment on a global basis for transferring production processes geographically.
