Heller Technology Days Open House October 8 - 9
August 10, 2014Heller Machine Tools will host its bi-annual Technology Days exposition October 8 and 9, 2014, from 2 - 7 PM each day. During the event Heller will showcase its new machining centers and flexible systems for heavy-duty flexible production, as well as its next generation crank milling and turning machines. Twenty-five supplier and complementary technology firms will participate with displays that will include tooling and automation.
Heller will have the following under power on its 100,000 sq. ft. assembly floor:
• The new patented cylinder bore coating (CBC) process that imparts a high-durability coating to aluminum parent metal, such as aluminum engine blocks
• MC 20, a next-generation automotive flexible machining system
• Flexible heavy-duty machining technology for large components, including large diesel engine blocks and heads
• Gas and oil industry machining capabilities with high-torque HMCs
• Heller's BLUE energy efficiency machining advancements.
