Okuma, Hartwig and Davis Applied Technology College Showcase the Latest in CNC Technology
May 1, 2014Okuma America Corporation, Hartwig Inc. and Davis Applied Technology College (DATC) will partner to host a CNC technology and tooling event May 7 and May 8, 2014, from 9 AM - 5 PM, at DATC, Kaysville, UT.
This two-day event will feature on-site cutting demonstrations and several seminars. New tooling techniques that increase productivity will be illustrated on a variety of Okuma machines including GENOS horizontal lathes and machining centers, Tsugami Swiss turn centers, Bridgeport vertical machining centers, Hexagon Metrology inspection equipment and ROMER portable arms. Additionally, the Okuma THINC-OSP control will be available for hands-on demonstration and trials.
The seminar schedule for the two-day event is as follows:

1:30pm - How Okuma Controls Make Increased Productivity and Profitability Easy
• May 8
10:30am - Improving Profitability via "Once and Done" Machining
1:30pm - Green Light Machining
