Powerhold offers an all-in-one live center kit that can be used for almost any part that needs to be turned, according to Powerhold. The new Bruckner Live Center Kit includes one LRE, LDE (Springloaded) or SE (Standard) insert style live center, one each of eight different standard insert tips, draw-off nuts, a portable carrying case and the certificate confirming the factory tested runout of the live center.
Bruckner offers three different versions of insert style centers. The SE is a solid-taper center and is the most economical standard-duty center for most turning applications. The LDE is a standard spring-loaded series, and the LRE is a spring-loaded model that includes colored tailstock pressure indicating rings to give the operator a visual check of the tailstock pressure being applied. The SE model is offered in a standard accuracy version with guaranteed runout of 0.0002"; an optional 0.0001" high-accuracy version can also be provided. LRE and LDE models come with guaranteed runout of .0003".
The inserts offered include standard 60 deg, two extended tip 60 deg options, extended 60/45 deg, three female versions and one carbide tipped 60 deg. Bruckner insert style live center kits come in sizes from Morse Taper 2 to 5. Custom insert tips can be offered on request.
Bruckner also manufactures tool steel and carbide dead centers, as well as hydraulic and mechanical face drivers. Powerhold is the exclusive provider of Bruckner products in the USA.
