Improve Efficiency with Low-Profile Conveyors

Bunting Magnetics Co. offers low-profile conveyors in standard-duty and heavy-duty versions. They are designed to deliver peak performance with low maintenance due to the widespread availability of replacement bearings and belts from stock at local supply houses, cutting down on potential down time.

"Requiring clearance of only 1-13/16 inches to the top of the belt and built to withstand the punishment of punch press and automated applications, a Bunting standard duty low profile conveyor (SLPC) can significantly increase the material handling efficiency at any sheet metal and stamping industry shop," said a company spokesperson. "The SLPC in the magnetic version is used to hold and stabilize parts and scrap as they drop or feed onto the moving belt. They also eliminate the potential problems of jamming and downtime caused when parts wedge themselves between the parallels. Nonmagnetic models, also available, are used for moving and transferring parts; optional cleated belts allow the smooth moving on horizontal and incline applications."

Bunting's heavy-duty low-profile conveyors (HLPC) are designed to handle tough under-press jobs with minimum maintenance. The HLPC is best suited for high-capacity, high-speed, oily applications and requires only 1-11/16" clearance.

All Bunting low-profile conveyors can run individually or gang driven, allowing the flexibility of one motor driving a series of conveyors in a forward or reverse direction. They also offer versatile and simple mounting arrangements on bolster plates for fast and easy set-up.
