At FABTECH 2013, in booth #C-3390, COE Press Equipment will highlight its Cut-to-Length Line (CTL) capability, designed to provide fabricators and metal stampers with cost savings associated with producing blanks in-house. And in booth #S-4509, COE will display a conventional coil line featuring its ServoMaster SM2-18 Zig-Zag Roll Feed, which allows parts to be fed in a staggered pattern for enhanced material usage.
"CTL benefits include process streamlining, improved quality and scrap reduction," said a company spokesperson. COE's Value Series CTL lines are built to meet each customer's specific needs and can process coil from 12" - 72" wide, .010" - .250" material thickness and 6,000# - 60,000# coil weights in a variety of materials including CR steel, HR steel, galvanized, stainless, pre-painted and aluminum.
The ServoMaster SM2-18 Zig-Zag Roll Feed can attain a roll speed of 576 feet/minute with +/- 0.003" feed accuracy.
The coil line is also comprised of aCPPS-250-18 power straightener with a 60 FPM payoff rate and a CPR-DE-6078 double-ended coil reel. The line can handle coil width up to 18", process steel up to .125" thick x 12" wide or .100" thick at 18" wide, and has coil weight capability up to 6,000#.
