Helios Appoints Engineer

Helios Gear Products has hired Caeden Keith as Engineer. Keith earned his degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Northern Illinois University (NIU). During his time at NIU, he demonstrated his passion for innovation and mentorship by serving as a mentor for his high school's FIRST Robotics Competition Team 5934 and leading NIU's team in NASA's BIG Idea Challenge.

Keith's engineering journey includes a diverse range of hands-on experiences. He began as a CNC operator intern at Upstaging Inc., followed by a role as a manufacturing engineering intern at Wise Plastics Technologies. After honing his skills, he joined Helios Gear Products as an applications engineering co-op intern, where he gained valuable experience and insight into the gear manufacturing industry.

Following his co-op internship, Keith joined the Helios team full-time as an Applications Engineer. In this role, he collaborates with innovative manufacturers to develop custom cutting tools and workholding automation solutions, driving excellence and innovation in the industry.
