Lights-Out Manufacturing with AMRs

System 3R offers its fully automatic autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for safe and efficient material management. Uses include transportation of palletized workpieces, electrodes, cutting tools, raw materials and more between individual cells.

Components of the AMR system include:
- Parking station
- Tray lift at the production cell
- Tray for pallets, electrodes, etc. (e.g., Dynafix and Macro tooling systems)
- Fleet Manager (system handling each AMR)
- AMR support is one of the features of WorkShopManager 5 (WSM 5)
- Preparation and loading stations.
A variety of features are built into the AMRs to provide a safe work environment. Safety lasers and sonar enable them to detect obstacles in their paths and avoid collisions.
