UVA LIDKÖPING, with parent company Dacke Industri, recently acquired 100% of the shares in CNC North, a provider of mechanical rebuild solutions and enhancements for Bryant and other grinding equipment.

UVA LIDKÖPING is a global supplier of high-precision grinding machines with over 120 years of experience and over 10,000 machines installed worldwide.

"The acquisition marks a significant milestone for the UVA LIDKÖPING, solidifying its commitment to enhancing its regional services segment," said a company spokesperson. "Combining CNC North's knowledge and expertise with UVA LIDKÖPING's rich manufacturing heritage, customers can expect a comprehensive range of advanced grinding machinery tailored to their specific needs."

CNC North was established in 2005. Two of the original three owners had 40-plus years of experience designing and building Bryant grinders. The original focus of CNC North was remanufacturing Bryant Lectraline and Ultraline series machines to OEM specifications. In 2008, the company built its first new internal strut grinder for the aeronautics industry, incorporating its proprietary hydrostatic slide design on a solid granite base. Today, nearly 20 CNC North new machines are in operation, supporting military, aerospace and aeronautics industries. The largest of these machines weighs in at 80,000 lbs. The company continues supporting the global bearing and automotive industries by remanufacturing, modernizing, upgrading and servicing their Bryant grinding machines.

"We look forward to extending our footprint into the United States further and strengthening our industry-leading grinding machines and services closer to our valued customers. By joining forces with CNC North, we can provide even more development and covering support to the market," said Kenneth Carlsson, CEO of UVA LIDKÖPING.

"We are happy to be a part of the strong company culture, quality products and forward-thinking vision at UVA LIDKÖPING. This partnership promises significant benefits and opportunities, ensuring a successful future built on excellent service and innovation," said Patrick Harrington, CEO of CNC North.

Lars Fredin, Group CEO of Dacke Industri and Chairman of UVA LIDKÖPING, said, "Corporate acquisitions are an essential part of Dacke Industri's growth strategy, and the acquisition of CNC North is a great fit that aligns perfectly with UVA LIDKÖPING's future vision for enhanced value-added customer service and growth. UVA LIDKÖPINGs performance over the last few years has been impressive, and we are excited about what we can achieve together with CNC North. We are convinced that the companies will strengthen each other going forward."
