Methods Offers United Grinding Solutions

Methods Machine Tools has announced a new distribution association with United Grinding to sell and service United Grinding solutions in Texas and Louisiana.

"The addition of United Grinding to our portfolio now positions us to complement our machine tools and automation with world-class grinding and ultra-precise finishing platforms," said William Keim, General Manager of Methods' regional office based in Houston.

Methods' Houston office is the third regional location to offer United Grinding, following an initial partnership with Methods' Charlotte, NC, regional office in 2015 and its Detroit-area office in 2023.

"There is strong commercial alignment between our companies. In the end, our joint customers will benefit the most from our partnership by having more platforms to choose from with a single point of contact for service and support," Keim said.

Methods expanded into Texas and Louisiana in 2022 and operates a 5,000 sq.-ft. technical center and showroom. The 65-year-old company headquartered in Sudbury, MA, offers CNC and wire EDM solutions from FANUC, Nakamura-Tome, YASDA, OKK, KIWA Japan, Weiler and its own brand of Methods machining centers. Additionally, Methods offers a suite of automation, integration and process management services at each of its nine locations in the U.S.
